There will be a Board of Alderman meeting on Tuesday, February 6th at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall. The public is welcome to attend.

Jim Clemmons, Alderman for Ward Three, has officially resigned from his position. On January 23, 2024, resident Tim Kelley Sr. was sworn in to take his place. Welcome, Tim!

The Planning & Zoning Meeting still plans to meet tonight (Monday, 1/22/24) at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall. The public is welcome to attend, but please drive carefully!

There will be a Board of Alderman meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall. The public is welcome to attend.

REMINDER: There will be a special Planning and Zoning meeting on Monday, January 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall. It will be open to the public. If you wish to speak during the meeting, you must be signed up to speak by 5:00 p.m. Call City Hall at (417) 883-5840 for more information.

The Economic Development Commission Meeting that was scheduled for Thursday, January 18th at 8:30 a.m. has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

The Board of Alderman meeting that was scheduled for tonight (1/16/2024) at 6:30 p.m. has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum.

There will be a Board of Alderman meeting on Tuesday, January 16th at 6:30 p.m. in City Hall.

There will be Municipal Court on Tuesday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the courtroom at City Hall.

The temperature will be dropping over the weekend. Make sure to prepare your pipes for the extreme cold. 1. Close inside valves supplying water to outdoor faucets/hookups. 2. Open outdoor faucets to allow residual water to drain after water supply is turn off inside. 3. Keep garage doors closed to maintain a warmer interior for exposed pipes. 4. Open cabinet doors where plumbing is located to allow warmer air to circulate. 5. For pipes at risk of freezing, let water drip from indoor faucets. 6. Keep the heat in your home no lower than 55 degrees.

The offices at City Hall will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr day on Monday, January 15th. They will reopen on Tuesday, January 16th at 8:00 a.m.

There will be an Advisory Park Board meeting on Thursday, January 11th at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall. As always, the public is invited to attend.

There is an important election coming up on April 2nd. Are you registered to vote in Battlefield, MO?

The offices at City Hall will close at 12 pm today (Friday, December 29th). They will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd at 8:00 a.m.
